![]() ![]() ![]() Please post your save files as I would like to study as many save files as possible. just open the quick save file located in your save folder and search for "karmapoints". Try this yourself with savefiles, you can do it with any file, doesn't have to be the Volga level. There are some slight differences to be found. You can find in the below image my personal savegame marked evil by the game (I wonder why?) and to the right you can find the "good" savefile. Somehow the game translates this to a suitable ending when needed. Should you try this at home (I encourage you to do so) if you search for "karmapoints" you literally find a sum of al the good and bad things you did. I also downloaded a save file from this subreddit of a good Volga ending (can't seem to find the source anymore.) I compared the two and found a most intriguing section in both files. So I saved my game right before the moment where you enter the room where the preacher is preaching. Let me share with you my findings so we can share thoughts. But taking a look at the save file with an hex editor seems to open new possibilities. Doing it in notepad or sublime text won't get you far. I did not want to spend another 15 hrs doing the Volga map all over again therefore I tried editing the save file. ![]() The boat section I did completely sneaking without harming or alarming. I got the guitar, and teddy back, and rescued all possible cultists from bandit hands. I also did not harm any civilians in any way. This made me think, how could I do this differently? To be fair, I did kill all cultists chasing me in the church, however, I did not kill the soldiers surrendering. It appears I got the "bad" ending for the Volga chapter 1, where Duke dies. I am quite the perfectionist, gathering every dime, upgrade and collectible to be found on the map. I have been playing the game non stop last week and I really enjoy it.
